The CliqRelay Chrome Extension does not contain or process native sign-up or sign-in forms.

All account creation, login credentials, password management, session handling, and workspace administration are executed exclusively on our web application (https://app.cliqrelay.com). The extension interacts with the web application by reading session tokens or cookies to verify your workspace permission and attach generated guides to your user account.

The CliqRelay Chrome Extension activates capture functionality only when explicitly initiated by the user (e.g., clicking "Start Capture"). When a recording session is active, the extension processes the following data:

• Interaction & Step Metadata: Click event locations, DOM selectors, button labels, input field identifiers, and page title sequences.
• Visual Screenshots: Screen captures generated upon user clicks or page transitions to build step-by-step visual guides.
• Page URLs & Navigation Events: Browser URLs and page load events recorded during active sessions to link workflow steps together.
• Local Storage & Session Data: Temporary extension state, active workspace identifiers, and pending data stored via Chrome storage APIs to prevent data loss.

The extension does not passively collect data in the background when a capture session is paused or stopped.

Data captured by the extension is strictly used to deliver the core functionality of CliqRelay, including:

• Asynchronously processing, cropping, and assembling captured screenshots and DOM events into structured guides.
• Syncing workflow drafts to your CliqRelay web application workspace.

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data or captured screenshots to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.

To deliver our services, we share necessary operational data only with trusted infrastructure providers bound by strict confidentiality and data protection standards.

All data in transit between the Chrome extension, our backend API, and third-party storage infrastructure is encrypted using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Captured media and screenshots are stored securely in cloud object storage with restricted access policies tied to your organization workspace.

You maintain complete control over the workflow guides captured by the extension:

• Deletion: You can edit or delete individual guide steps and complete workflow guides at any time inside the web application.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect improvements to our tools or policy adjustments required by browser extension marketplaces. Updated versions will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
